ghostmouse:-) I agree, the B is a fine hotel in many respects, but there is
a tremendous amount of hype surrounding it. If one looks at the standard
rooms in quantifiable terms, removing the fuzzier aesthetic discussion, there are
several hotels that match or better them.

Clearly a matter of "different strokes for different folks".
Everyone's "right" when it comes to matters of taste.

For my wife and I, the Bellagio experience is LV at it's finest. We
found our room exceptional - hey, anywhere that provides bathrobes in
the standard rooms can't be half bad.

We found the hotel, the casino, and the restaurants to provide an
unparalleled gaming experience. (Well, the coffee shop could be a lot
more appealing in our opinion.)

Of course, our attitude may well be biased by one of the most romantic
meals my wife and I have ever enjoyed -- a superbly prepared steak
dinner enjoyed in our room, looking out on the fountains.
