Arrived MS for $50K tourney on 4/18(no luck).
Strange three round elimination system continues.
Been promised a Sagamore Card for three months now.
Host Carla Ford blames post office.
In computer as Sagamore however.
Cannot get this card at Casino. It must be mailed.
Seems MS comp/rating organization remains disarrayed.
MS was very busy on Sunday.
We played 20 hours of $1 PE combined.
Down $2,500 with only one Quad
However, player to the left of us on 9/6 draw poker
got a Royal after drawing to a four card hold.
Made me feel comfortable with the long run.

I have seen RFs at the $1 tito room (JOB) and my friend has had 2.
However, I have observed that the PE seems to play much worse that
at the 25c machines or the $5.00 machines. This weekend I played 1
coin in the $5.00 machines because I mistrust the $1.00 PE. I wonder
if it is possible to run a survey to compare members results on the
$1.00 machines vs. expectation.

AND. it's all an observation, TOTALLY NOT CORRECT, other than an
observation.

Short pay Pick'em pays 98.95 regardless...

I don't mean to sound indifferent, but this exact subject has been
put forward hundred times, even at LV VP sites. The Math has already
been done. If U feel uncomfortable, don't play them..
To understand the volitility of $5 Pick'em, that is the up and down
swings, U need to understand that the Math says U should have a
Minumum of $200,000, any less of a commitment and you'll always play
with discomfort and fear. It's the nature of the beast....

Saw a man win a RF at the $5 PE Tuesday about 11.30PM.
Everyone wanted to peek at it cuz they're so rare.
I was there for about 6 hours and saw several quads and
a couple SF's.

I had been playing JorB at the Sun, to a small gain exclusive of
comps, for a year until I heard about PE. Early this summer, I
played a .25 machine by the bar in the Hall of Lost Tribes one day
and hit a quad after 2 hours. [I had to be partially paid by the
repairman because of malfunctioning; I ended up with a few extra
bucks.] I then graduated myself to the $1 PEs in the old poker
room. So far there I have yet to get a single quad (or SF or RF) and
I'm down over $2300. I understand about mathematical variance but
then when I read about whether the casino could replace the chips
with non-random ones, I begin to get a little worried.

I was there last week and played $1 pickum for about three hours. I
hid one quad and left winning about $700. The woman next to me hit 3
quads in the same time period. I am sure the games are fine. You
just had a run of bad luck. That is what video poker is like
