We stayed at Sunset Station for first time-loved it. Played mostly
the Optimum banks. On first full day RF in the a.m. on quarters and
on secon day hit back-to-back quad 2's on loose deuces!! Actually
about five hands apart. The rooms were very nice, clean and very
comfortable. We ate only breakfast there and secured a host named
Burma who comped our food. The only thing we were charged for was
the internet access. Three days there and well up!!
We then went to Henderson for a few days to visit our friends and of
course we went to the Fiesta with a 3x coupon and $60.00 in free play.
On second day-bingo another RF!!
We checked in on Super Bowl Sunday at the LV Hilton (I checked in
early) but did not actually go to the room until very late because
all the hoopla especially at the sports book--yikes!! I guess it's
the free food thing-thanks but no thanks. The room at the Hilton
was fairly large-but no personality what so ever-very sparse and
bare looking. Our first time there-staff was excellent and used the
$25.00 coupon for cash. We used our points for food and upon our
departure the check out desk gave us $27.00 in cashback. BTW
on am departure I hit 4 aces in the $1.00 machines near the gaming
tables for $800.00
We went to GVR one day and played the FPDW and got another RF on
a five card discard!!! Talk about luck. I think I read somewhere
the odds are 1 in 650,000 or something like that.
All in all a great trip and well ahead!!
