Out of the blue, I received a mail offer for $300 airfare reimbursement (per person) and 3 free nights at the Wyndham Resort on Cable Beach, in Nassau. Since my wife and I had wanted to visit Nassau again, away we went.
Airfare from Tampa was $572 for both of us. Cab ride from airport to hotel takes only about 15 minutes and costs $18. Airfare was reimbursed promptly when we arrived and checked with casino host.
The room was fairly nice, with a small balcony overlooking the ocean. The water there is beautiful shades of blue. The casino is directly connected to the hotel.
Now to the VP situation. The WORST I have seen anywhere. All JOB was 6/5, even $5 and higher. To pass the time I played a multiline 1 cent D/W game that was around 94% return, plus some blackjack (6 to 5), and some dollar slots.
Food was very expensive. For example, the lunch buffet (mediocre) was $25. At checkout time I found I was charged $34 per day "resort fee" plus $5.40 per day in taxes.
My wife lost about $1100 and I lost $800 over the three days. I visited the host before I checked out to see if I could get some of my food comped. I received the grand sum of $15.
Unless you just want a vacation, without gambling, avoid this place.
