Trip report: Boulder Strip - Labor Day

Arrived Friday night at the Boulder Station, pretty
crowded and not much to brag about. Hit 4 deuces with
a kicker on .25 DDB 9/6 but little else. Saturday went
to Sams Town (usually the kiss of death for me) and
hit a royal on a bartop IGT Draw Poker (8 coin bet)
for $5006.00. Funny thing is that the woman sitting 2
seats down from me just hit one for $5121.00. Jackpot
resets to $5g so these were practically back to back.
I know better than to play short pay machines but I
can't complain about the outcome. Kinda sat back the
rest of the trip since I'm coming back down in late
October.

This weekend results.

10 hours. 21,000 hands (7,000 deals)
1 Royal, 4 sets of deuces
FINAL WIN $10 (yep. ten dollars, that is it.)
Roller coaster ride.
Was down as much as $600 and up about the same amount.
