Hey fans...
Well another junket completed to Vegas. I went for 8 nights and
below is a short summary of my stays and the gambling involved, which
was almost all video poker in .25 on full pay machines.
Flew into Vegas on March 30 a sunday night and hopped onto the 108
downtown. A quick ride to the back of the Golden Nugget and I am soon
walking to the Main Street Station my first hotel for 2 nights, comped
with double points for my stay.
Main Street Station is my favorite downtown stay by the way. I get
high up rooms overlooking the Plaza. That way no highway noise the
other side of the hotel can have. I get room 1401 I think this
time...over the railroad tracks but a great room and no problem with
noise at all.
I go gambling, and find double bonus 10/7 video poker and 9/6 Job all
over the place in .25 and I settle down at the bar...soon numerous 4
to Royals later...and still no hits...bartender is flirting with me
and rubbing it in...well I hold a K and bingo..my first Royal at
MSS!!! What a start to my trip...about 3AM and I call it a night
finally after walking the main drag and gambling a bit elsewhere.
Next day gambled downdown...MSS, 4Queens, Binions, El Cortez. Mostly
played Bonus .25 in full pay 8/5, but some 10/7 DB and a little STP
in .05 at Binions which was a bit short pay...but I was holding even.
That night about 2AM again I was in 4Queens and playing .25 10/7
Double Bonus Progressive and a lady gets off number 5 machine after
hitting aces, I move over to that machine... ...well I get 4 threes
and then hold 3 to Royal and bingo....Royal number two in two
nights!!! Have a W2G for this one though...no problem.
Next day bus to Terribles on the 108 for my next three nights on
points..so no charge again for the wallet. Stay here was in old room,
my first time in older rooms my last 4 or 5 trips...but did get third
floor so top floor and no noise from above, TVs were flat screen
updated, but overall I prefer the new wing there.. it is double the
amt of points per night (5000 vs the 2500 I paid for my room a night)
but worth the points...I have tons of points anyway....gambling
uneventful here, played .05, .10 and .25 JOB..small loss of l00 to
200 in total..stayed 3 nights here. Went to Palms one day and
gambled at Orleans a day also..Pool at Terribles nothin
happening...spent an hour was all there...usually I spend an
afternoon there.
Next stop was Hooters for Friday thru Sunday ...bussed over on the 108
and then down Tropicana from Terribles. Got great room on 5th floor
here..found 9/6 JOB ...spent a couple hours at pool on Fri
afternoon...Next day spent at pool and also gambled at
Excaliburs...10/6 DDB in .25 at the bar by sportsbook..and
a 8/5 Bonus machine in triple play .25 near players club...got a free
hat for 100 points also..Budweiser the King of Beers it says..also
got a free Hooters hat on my room offer...
At Hooters I found a 3 night free room offer on internet email...so I
booked it. They also had coupons for stuff like a free hat...black
which I loved...so got two new souvenirs...
Excalliburs had some nice gambling also...10/6 DDB in .25 was
cool...but had to hit 4 OAKS...stayed about even there...put about
10,000 points on card...Bonus machine cool also 8/5 Bonus triple
play...
Hooters bars had a bingo game I found Sunday..with a 4oak they turn
over that card and you get 10 bucks on .25 machines...last card is
worth 500...so worth playing if last card in play..short pay machines
of 7/5 bonus at bars also...but a fun play.
Hooters pool a cool time...all chicks at hooters seemed fun...I like
this casino a lot...
Last place was Palms for Monday night...left early am to get to Palms
pool on Monday, bussed down strip on Deuce to Flamingo and then
over......very cool pool. Nice after warmup around 11 am...got a bit
of a burn this day...gambled on my LVA coupon of 3X points that
night...and watched final for basketball on TV, what a waste...I had
Memphis and walked over to cash my ticket at Gold Strike...but
no....they had lost...had 35 on win was all....small loss overall at
Palms but no charge for 89 dollar room after 50% off bill with LVA
coupon and rest of 3X points covered bill totally...Cool!!!
8 Nights...room charges...0.00
Last day ...spent at Bills and Ballys on strip...won LVA matchplay at
IP for 10 and had free hotdog coupon at Bills and half off Ice Cream
at Ballys Haagen DAZ, wow 3 scoops of coffee, vanilla and
chocolate...what a lunch...
back on bus and went to airport..my flight shows hour late...I get on
earlier one...luggage to home later was 10 bucks...but hey..had a
couple Royals so what the heck...trolley ride from airport to condo
and back home.
Well thats all folks...what a trip..fingers got raw I gambled so
