this was package tour that vacations hawaii offers to us hawaiians.
we left 1100 hawaiian time and got to vegas at about 1830. got picked
up by the mini buses and the group were dropped off to their
respective hotels. was staying at the main street this time. usually
stay at the cal. i arrived at the mainstreet and we went to eat at
the buffet. usually eat there at the garden buffet. food is good!
its great if your hungry and you havent eaten asian food or mexican
food for long. after dinner,i played some deuces wild near the boar's
bar,next to the wall. not the full pay. after a couple of good
hands,i was dealt 4 deuces. cashed out and went to play ddb in fron
of th 777 brew pub. and played few hands before i hit 4aces. man!
what a lucky nite! well collected my winnings and cashed in for the
nite.
monday the 10th,totally different story. got breakfast at the buffet
again. nice to see the familliar
hostesses,cashiers,waiters,waitresses,and food servers. after
eaten,walked to plaza,but i didnt see the loan fpdw where it used to
be. could have been moved? or mia? well any ways walked across to
freemont street. went to golden gate,then walked out. bypassed vegas
club and on to golden nuggets where i cashed in my silvers that was
won last trip. didnt play at gn. went to binnions played their fpdw.
won some money but no deuces. by the way, the jw,db,fpdw were hardly
occupied when i was there. what gives? i thought people where
searching for these advantage games. well, anyway on to freemont.
played some db and deuces,but no luck. i use to like freemont alot.
but not alot now. hit 4aces with kicker on the deuces bonus last
tripl. that was for $500. no luck this time. ate at their buffet
which wasnt close the last time. food is okay. again! if your hungry
its delicious.
went back across the street,into cal. db machines still there near
main street bar. with no luck. then went back to main street to play
the fpdw. now, in fron of the wheel of fortune by the casino
enrance,are 2banks, fronting each other. each banks consist of 4
machines. correct me if im wrong but i only saw 2 machines that are
considered fpdw. i saw that 2 of the machines,the pay for quads is 25
points,not 20. there are signs saying full pay machines. so be
carefull. could be alittle deception here. hmm? you think? well no
luck here either. won some scratch cards with natural quads. if you
win enough scratch cards,this helps alot to compensate your
gratuities. well wen to bed early,it wasnt a good day at all. the
money i won previous nite all went back!
tuesday was good day. almost same routine. the buffet,and then play.
wen to binnions. played there alot. hit a quad. this guy who look
like nick nolte came up to me and said he use to play alot of this
fpwd at laughlin. he said he was suprise they have the machines here.
i guessed he used to pound those machines alot. lol. he also told me
that you needed a bankroll of 3grand to play these and come out
successful. is this guy one of our knowledgible members? if you
are,whomever you are,it was nice talking to you! a black gentelman
also talked to me and he said that on one hand he was dealt 3deuces
and that he had a full house. he kept the full house. the next dealt
he said, a single deuce came up. he couldnt believe it. needless to
say,i didnt question him why he didnt go for the 4 deuces.
this is one thing i enjoyed,you know. friendly people,totally
strangers from all walks of life come up to me and start chatting.
not all though. well any way went to freemont and same friggin thing.
played nickel slots there and you guess it. crap! i put in $5 in a
stars and stripe slots and won $240. so i cashed out. let me digress
and say that on my previous trips,there was this rude slot
attendant,but this time i didnt see her at all. is she still working
there? was she on vacation? i dont care!lol! also,i didnt see some
of the familiar slot attendant that i use to see often. did the
casinos cut down on empoyees because of the tito machines?
well anyway returned to ms played some more fpwd. hit lots of natural
quads. there was bald man there at the fpdw,whom i would see quite
often during my stay. he would hog the machine. when he took break he
made sure that no one play at that particul machine. he'd lean the
chair agains the machine. i think this guy is semipro(really?). i
quessed after a couple of days he was seem to be aware of me as i was
with him. we didnt have conversations. it felt like we were rivals.
and i sensed that feeling was mutual. i hit another 4 deuces there
and that helped. i left the fpdw to go play the db in front of the
pub. was succesful there with a quad of jacks. i was telling this
quy next to me, "why are you playing that machine. this manchine im
playing is 10/7 and your playing 8/5". he said they never bother to
check out the pay table. well anyway he cashed out. he must hit a
quad coz he got alot of quarters when he did. i felt stufus (stupid
+dufus) telling him that, at that time. made it a short nite. ate
then went to the room. my eyes get pretty weary. and really get
uncomfortable sitting at those chairs.
by the way the beer hostesses at ms were great and friendly. not only
that,they were attractive too. well one wasnt so receptive. lol.
kudos especially to angie she made sure to come and asked me if i
needed libations.
wednesday, was my last full day. it started out great then went
downhill fast. so went to bed early. like 9pm vegas time. that would
be still 6pm hawaiian time. no wonder i had hard time going to sleep!
lol. also woke up pretty late.
incidently, after i quit playing and was walking around to find my
companion and finally found him. i didnt want to play anymore coz i
was tired and had was not hitting anything at all.
this security guard who looks like the actore joe what his las
name,on everybody loves raymond. he plays ray romano's dad! well he
came up to me and said i look familiar. that i was following him and
he was following him!hahaha. i might have been following him
inadvertantly coz i was going in circles looking for my partner like
i said. this security guard who was tall and was so built said i was
and 86. whateva that means. he didnt bother to explain. i think he
thouhgt i was a nauthy ,nauthy person. he took my name and he asked
if that was my real name. haha. i said yes.
i explained to him that ive been going there for the past 3years now.
although i stay at cal all the time. to which he reply "maybe thats
why you look familiar. i saw him again later by the cashier as i was
sitting down and waiting for the buffet line to go down. i wave to
him and chuckled and he had a smile. i hoped he was embarrased!
i quessed that was the hi lite of the trip.
left town the next morning so went to bed early.
didnt win but did not lose too much. i enjoyed myself and cant wait
to get back. if only vacations hawaii lower their friggin prices! are
you listening vacations hawaii? i mean its ridiculous to pay close to
$700 for 4 days. i can go all the way to tokyo for that amount! i
know the cost of fuel is high right now,but come on! geez!
by the way, as we were waiting for our busses to come and pick us up.
i went back to those deuces machines in front of wof and checked the
pay schedule. it seems liked the quad pay has been changed from 25 to
20! can anyone confirm or verify this? maybe the bald guy had
pounded the machine too long ey?

your welcome annie! yes that includes meal coupons and
transportations back and forth from airport. and yes i
guessy your right that its reasonably cheap. but it
gets cheaper than that at times. waiting for that! so
maybe summertime!
