Trip Notes from last week's visit

AQ- They had a different promo going on for new sign-ups and their stronger
players. Players got postcards to pick-up a 12-pack of Coke and get a
drawing ticket. Newbies got a Winfinder keychain that might start blinking for $25
in Freeplay and a drawing ticket. No one else was eligible, even for some
Coke.

The drawing was weekly on Sunday night for 10 x$1k in Freeplay. Need not be
present. Freeplay automatically loaded and good for a year.

The AQ slotclub is a weak link. They do all these promos that you have to go
visit a boothling, like the Free-play/Room offers. By 7am, when it opens,
there is a line for the one employee who opens. At 8:15am on a Tuesday there
were 18 folks in line and two workers. It looks like 10am is better, 9 in line
and 5 workers.

EW/CB- Hamstockman and I parlayed our drawing tickets for the April 15th Big
Bang Finale "Tax Relief" drawings. They were giving 5X more money than the
14 days before. Thankfully, they went back to paper tickets after their
experiment doing electronic drawings. Thankfully, you could actually hear the names
being called. We didn't win, but this format is OK.

Always read the rules. They were giving tickets for showing other casino's
room keys and they cut-off earning tickets two hours before the drawing.

Pioneer- the new Four to a Royal promo is the strongest one of the rotation
that they do over here. They were re-arranging the furniture so there will
need to be an update once things settle down. Still offer the premium pint
drafts in Sassy Sue's Saloon.

Golden Nugget- getting scary. The two quarter slant-top Jacks 9/6 are gone.
Some more new Game Kings make their debut with Bonus 7/5 as the best game.

River Palms- Winners Wharf still is stable with the coin-clunkers. Need to
scout the three bars for something playable. Each VP selection has it's own
royal meter based upon the bar. There is alot of short coin action to help
meters.
