Treatise of Govt. RE: Tipping the Waitress........

WELL !!!!!!! My wife and I just joined this group and just posed a
simple question about how much people tip the waitress . We had no idea
it was going to lead to the overthrow of the goverment and an IRS
audit. This was about a month ago . We've always believed that the best
answer is K.I.S.S , or " Keep It Simple , Stupid " , (no offense
intended) so we don't get quoted out of context , again. Anyway glad to
see so many people interested in our simple question , will have to
come up with another one to watch the debate , LOL . As for the
goverment , I believe Winston Churhill said that " Democracy is the
worst form of political goverment , except for all the others " And if
he didn't say it , we're sure one of you will let us know, again, who
did say it , where they said, when they said it , why they said it and
what the odds are that they said it !!! Well we just though we would
have some fun in here tonight, we hope all said did not offend anyone
and it was all in fun , as it should be ........

This question is asked by newbies, that don't look at polls or read
the archive, so often, we have to get together and decide where to
take it each time it is asked. (I believe I have $0.50/drink in the poll)

Also I searched for the quote and got, "Democracy is the worst form of
government, except for all those other forms that have been tried from
time to time." Winston Churchill Both the quote and the name were
incorrect, for shame! :slight_smile:

         I had no problem finding the aforementioned
quote which WAS made by Winston Churchill.I found it

The quote in the original post was not correct. And it was credited
to Winston Churhill -- note the misspelling. dipy was poking fun at
the mistakes. I thought that was pretty clear, but maybe not.
