Will I have any trouble cashing a modest amount of traveler's checks ($300-$500 a day) in AMEX traveler's checks at the hotels I will be staying in-Atlantis and Peppermill?
Reason I ask is that last year in Florida I seemed to run into a $200 a day maximum at every bank but one. Of course I can run from bank to bank but that is an obvious hassle.
To answer what I am sure will be somebody's comment-NO I don't have an ATM or debit card. I don't like their unreliabilty (demagnatization) or their fees-which are so often undisclosed. I rely on credit card, cash and travelers checks and have for 40 years!
Traveler's checks
The casino cage will call in the TC numbers to AX to verify
they are good before cashing them. In my experience AX TCs in any amount are as good as gold in any casino with proper ID.
