Will be driving in from Laughlin next week, for a week. But, was
thinking about leaving through the Dam area (Highway 93), can anyone
give a traffic report?

By-pass Site:

You mean going from Vegas to Kingman? Just cross before 9am to avoid the
tourist traffic. They still do the checkpoints, but it is quick as long as you
are not driving that Ryder Truck. Hacienda Casino makes for a fine pitstop.

The orange sign coming out of Kingman seems to have blown away. That was the
one that first touted a end of 2007 completion of the project. You can find
the PERT chart on the website that shows a Christmas 2010 target date now.

No, sorry! Didn't make myself clear, I will be driving into Vegas by
way of Laughlin. About 1300 miles all the way from here to there.

No can do, Well at least I don't think we can, but Thanks for the
pointer!
