Got back last nite from Weekend in Vegas. Stayed @ Fremont. I went w/ my brother who's quite a bit younger than me…his 1st trip & being the single guy & ladies man he is, he really enjoyed it.
Trip hilites: gambling - Brought home $1500+ profit after 1 royal, couple of Aces/kicker etc. I played mostly downtown, but we hit many casinos as I had a bunch of LVA & ACG coupons & match plays to use. Until yesterday at palms, I don't think I won a hand of BJ using match plya in about 10 places.
M - WOW, impressive... we're sitting there early Sun am & I says to brother... I sure hope they see us w/ cameras & come out & ask U not to use the cheat sheet they see U refering to. U see, the cheat sheet I made up 4 him was: what is a flush & straight & full house etc. My 40ish brother did not really know. He lost BTW, but he's now hooked & can't wait to get his hands on my software, books etc. He realizes his bi-monthly trips to local casinos will be much better w/ VP than his feeding $$$ into slots
Down town... Car show under the canopy was GREAT & in my mind, a real win win for downtown visitors, casinos & car show folks. The Rare Earth concert was Fantastic. I've never seen that big & enthusiastic a crowd downtown.
I walked out of the Fremont Mon EARLY am to go to 4 Queens to play my favorite game 25c, DDB progressives @ the Bar. I had to pass 3 "ladies", one of which I recognized rite away from previous trips...yep she still wants me. I've never taken her up on her action, but as I was sitting playing I thunk to myself...I'm well up 4 the trip, my brother's got his drunkin ass still in bed & he had been talking about getting laid. I otta go negotiate w/ the ladies, take them upstairs to Fremont, open the door, let them in & yell...Happy early birthday bro. Me bein the cheap ass I am, this didn't happen.
Had a great time tho, I suspect this won't be brothers last trip.
