GF and I went to LV on my annual 7 star trip. We booked four nights
Caesars and three nights NYNY.
We played on Paris BP and Harrahs Jacks( just before they became
MIA). I posted re discussion with asm @Paris. I lost in play at
HET. Mary was holding her own and on our third day there while
killing time to see The Producers we strolled into the mall and then
the casino at Planet Hollywood. We spotted a dollar TP with 8/5 BP(
Mary's favorite). She threw in a Benjamin and after about five
minutes hit a royal on one line !
The Producers was enjoyable. We both had seen it on Broadway .
Part of 7 stars annual is a $500 food/beverage credit. We ate well
at Caesars. Two nights at Raos , one at the Mesa grill and one at
the Empress Court. Also, Augustus room was nice. Didn't play a
penny at CP.
On second day in LV I walked over to NYNY to check out the Dollar
8/5 BP in front of IlFornaio. It was gone! Quickly made room and
RFBL arrangements at Bellagio but the next day Mary and I had more
presence of mind and realized that the lowest playable game was $2
BP and that was too expensive for us. Called Wynn and was offered
three nights room comp and food/beverage comp to be decided after
evaluation of play at stays end. We played alot of Jacks both on
single line and spin poker. Spin Poker is not offered in any
playable form in AC, so it was fun and exciting to play this game at
Wynn. I was fortunate enough to hit two 50 cent Royals on this game
and as a result my trip finished in the positive. Although we
weren't scheduled to go to Wynn till Sat. we began play there on
Fri. in order to earn comp. When we checked out on Tues. we had
earned approx. 15,000 pts. each, and were given $600 food comp which
far surpassed what we had charged to our room. In light of this, I
asked and was given a comp limo back to the airport. We also managed
to hold onto most of our free play which amounted to about $295/each.
We ate at the Buffet,Terrace Point Cafe( great Prime Rib special)
and Red 8. All were very very good. Our room overlooked the golf
course and the pool and was clean and nicely appointed. The staff
was helpful and courteous.
We will definitely stay here again.
