Traveled to LV for 4 nights with gf and her family. I tagged along at
the last moment so I booked it as my annual 7 * trip via Harrahs
Travel. No problem with airline or $500 food/beverage credit. Booked
Caesars, for 4 nights but only planned to stay for two. Wynn gave gf
two rooms for the other two nights.I planned to play @ Harrahs.
Found the one playable machine below $5 and it proved to be costly.
We left Caesars after only one night because of early morning
construction hammering and dirty and dusty pools due to new Tower
construction. Went to Wynn for three nights.
Wynn is a very very nice place and the staff was very hospitable.
Only lost a little there. GF dropped a bit. She played mostly $ SL
Jacks and Bonus while I dabbled mostly with $2 SL Bonus.
Pts. gf: 9000+..me 12,300
We had bills comped. They were only $250,( we were six people till
the last night when we went down to four). Also we ate at the Mesa
Grill one night using the remainder of HET $500 food credit and RC's
and at Olives another night. One day Mary's daughters and their
spouses went to Red Rock and ate lunch along the way. The one night we
ate at Wynn we did the buffet. A very nice Red Club person comped us
for four of the six buffets we needed and also gave us a line pass
because we had never used the free new player buffet promo.
My Wynn question: Unlike HET you never know how much food/beverage
comp you've accumulated, only what they'll comp you upon checkout. So
particularly near the end of your trip you're unsure of whether to eat
gourmet or coffee shop. Does anyone know anything about the Wynn
comp rate ?
Thanks,
Larry F.
