Caesars.....1 bedroom suite with 2 full baths (2 jetted tubs and 2 showers),
RFB comps , the ususal perks, turndown, fruit and cheese large basket, etc.
Service.....deplorable. From arguing employees (3 food court cashiers, all
complaining how hot is was at their stations while 7 of us stood in line waiting
to pay our bill)..... to the slot card promotions center guy who told me to
walk back over to a machine and put my card in if I wanted to know how many
points I had after I said I wanted to check my account.
Hello............

This was my first trip right over Christmas and the town was NOT dead as most
would think. There were more people and crowds than I had ever
experienced....I would guess 70-80% of them Asian. People are rude i.e. ( 2 teenage
daughters, sitting facing each other on the floor of an exit ramp out of the foodcourt
with about 8" of space between their feet while their mother stood between
them with her elbows outward and wouldn't budge when anyone said "excuse me" to
get out of the place). People are nuts i.e. ( many parents letting their
children crawl and play on the restaurant floors and other areas that are inundated
with dirt, germs and who knows what).
What happened to the no kids and definitely no strollers rule at The
Bellagio? Some more crazies blocking the exit line at the Bellagio buffet and wouldn't
move until a hostess came. I don't get it. Fighting morons like this is not
my idea of a vacation. There are less kids at Disneyland.
I would never go back during a busy time like this and can't imagine what New
Year's Eve must be like.

So, aside from poor service and too many self-centered people (and I only
mentioned a fraction of the incidences I encountered) the gambling was good and I
really enjoyed the TITO advantages. Easy to cash out when you make a profit
or need to leave a machine for any reason. Many machines wouldn't take a bill,
yet they always took a ticket if I had an uncashed one. Weird, hey?

Hit 3 royals, 8 sets of top aces on DDB, 9 sets of top aces on TDB, 4 sets of
ducks (only played dueces maybe 4 hours total) and an array of lesser good
pays as far as aces and the 2s,3s and 4s on the bonus games. More straight
flushes than usual. This was my best gambling of the last few Vegas trips, but I
still talked to many players who were commenting that they really noticed the
difference in the VP machines, i.e. not having 3 of a kind dealt hardly at all
in an hour's time span of play. One poor lady next to me fed a machine 5 Cs
with hardly a full house. This was on multi-line machines, but it still was sad.

Hubby went along this time and had his first royal, actually 2, gained from
a 4-to-the-royal deal on fifty play nickels, so he was thrilled. This was at
Binion's. He normally doesn't gamble.

Outlying trips to Red Rock and other areas, 2 shows that we saw and most of
the food was very good. Nero's is always my favorite for food and service,
although their menu is limited. It was $36 a person for the Bellagio buffet we
had. I think it was raised for the holidays.
