Signed up for three VP Tourneys at Harrah's "Horseshoe",
Shreveport,LA. Am looking for some help from any kind soul!
Nov. 22 - Millionaire Maker Vedio Poker Tournament
2-10 min. rounds with 1st. place paying $1500 and a trip to Lake
Tahoe
Nov. 30 & Dec. 28 - Jack's Video Poker Shootout
One round for each? 1st. $1500 with highest combined total for both
winning $5000 extra.
Suppose to be 9/6 DB with 4500c. RF, waiting on confirmination on
the 9/6 part?
Read B Dancers helps and will try to employ same. Have an old
message from H Porter on soneone asking about 9/6 DDB Tournament.
How close would using a tournament strategy for 9/6 DDB be in a 9/6
DB game? This is a bit vague I know, until I see what type of
interest there is in rehashing this.
Checked the archives here, didn't find a lot under the
Topic "Tournament Strategies".
I may not ask the right questions, but here goes:
Would learning correct strategy for a 9/6 version of DB and playing
that be of any great advantage or would using the 10/7 strategy
which I have studied be "good enought" for Tournament Play? At least
at the beginning.
In bulding a "Crunch Time" Strategy for Tournament Play how much EV
would be a safe amount to give up. Just go for the big hand payouts
if you haven't hit Aces or more than several Quads?
Thanks for any help!
