A study of Wong's book will give you considerable depth
concerning tournaments.

I have an article on playing at a Harrah's Millionaire Maker
tournament in Laughlin that is supposed to run in either Casino Player
or Strictly Slots this month (December) (depending on where they have
room). A lot of other hints about playing in tournaments are found
there.

Wong's Book is really useful in the traditional BJ tourney formats. Accrued
Total/Winner Take All format or the much more fun and skillful Table
Elimination format (1,2,3 advance to the next round). But it is going to be
out-of-date with this new made-for-TV format that is being tried out. This one has
forced eliminations at different hand counts, which is a brand new ballgame.

I agree paytables are pretty low on the list to things to consider for VP
tourneys.

So does anyone on this list suscribe to Casino Player/Strictly Slots? Is
their customer service still atrocious? Still Harrahsized in the Best of Issue?
The coupons any good?

Yep.

Is their customer service still atrocious?
They have always been very good to me when problems arose

Still Harrahsized in the Best of Issue?

@#&$ YES!!! but thanks to this site & others it is well known that
Harrahs stuffs the ballot box, if your employer gives the issue to cast
your vote & the casino who just comped you leaves one in your room, you
take the hint.

The coupons any good?

getting worse & less every year for vegas & reno, no longer offer 2 for
dining coupon for Golden Gate dammit!!

I still find enuff info to justify subscribing , your results may

vary
