A number of slot tournaments have recently offered the chance to play an additional session to replace the participant's lowest scoring session.
To qualify, a fixed number of player's club points must be earned during a fixed period.
How much is this extra round worth?
Accurately estimating this extra EV may prove valuable if this option spreads to more tournaments.
I need a formula that includes:
q - % of participants qualifying for the extra session
r - total number of sessions per player (without bonus)
as well as
p - total prize pool
e - total number of entrants
Of course there may be an additional cost to the additional casino play, but that can be considered separately.
