A few yrs ago, Topaz Lodge (on 395 NV-CA border) had a 4th of July double
4-of-a-kind promotion which made every VP machine positive. The promotion was
supposed to be for the whole weekend but it didn't even make it half way
through even though only the locals knew about it but had no idea how good this
was. The reason this died was due to someone playing the hardest machine to get
4 OAKs on & hitting them. It was the $5 Pick'Em. He hit several at $3k each
which is $6K doubled. I think the final straw was when he hit the royal for
$30K. Too bad for him it wasn't doubled.

The Topaz Nugget has been closed for about 10 years. I think the report
is for the Topaz Lodge. Sorry to hear the demise of the pick'em. They
have been a play for many years. Also, the website is way out of date
as mentioned. They are still advertising last years NFL promotion.
