You call that "work"? I'll tell you what's "work". Sanding rust off the bilges of ships in 90 degree summer weather at Bethlehem Steel shipyards, while wearing a facemask to avoid inhaling airborn rust particles is work. I know, because that was my summer job during my college years.
Bringing 3 diet cokes and 7 tiny water bottles is a joke. If these people make $50,000 a year by getting 50 cents a drink, I see no reason to give them $1 so that these uneducated people should make $100,000 per year.
My son has 2 masters degrees and is earning $50,000 per year teaching computers in public school (with 9 years experience). You big tippers should get real. If you want to tip these people into $150,000 per year for bringing you some water, go ahead. But I've now decided not to give any tips for hand-pays.
By the way,in case you are wondering, although I tip 20% in a restaurant, I haven't used a cocktail waitress in at least a year, although I pay in a casino weekly.
