Tomorrow - MAY 2008 vpFREE Lunch @ Gold Coast

The MAY vpFREE lunch is scheduled for Saturday 17 MAY
at the Gold Coast Buffet at 11:30 AM. Meet at the buffet entrance.
This is an informal, non-hosted, Dutch treat lunch, and there's
the possibility that no one will show up. Anyone planning to
attend should post an RSVP on vpFREE for coordination purposes.

Anyone who agrees to host/attend a monthly lunch can select a
different location for that month's lunch, if they notify me before
the first of the month.

In addition, a vpFREE lunch (or dinner) will be scheduled
whenever any member volunteers to be a host and posts the time
and location details on vpFREE. Interested attendees should RSVP
on vpFREE.

Notes: Buffets are usually more expensive and lines are usually
longer on weekends and holidays. Send any pictures to me and I'll
post a link to them.

Bummer! Somehow I missed the original notice of this and only now saw
this one.

Suggestion: Would these qualify as "special notices"? That would
cause them to be sent as an individual email.

Thanks!

Judy and I were, apparently, the only ones present.

Not a total loss, however . . I did hit a Royal Flush.

Hope to see you next month.

The monthly vpFREE lunch is always on the 3rd Saturday
of the month @ Gold Coast, unless there is a contrary
announcement. Three announcements are routinely
posted: On the first of the month, one week prior and
one day prior.

That's probably enough ink on the monthly lunch, and
there's never been a "special notice" post on vpFREE
(I'd have to do some research to figure out how to do
one).

Sending 1 is simple but really it is up to the user to decide to
either not set thier mail pref to "Special messages" only or visit
site on a regular basis. There is a box to ck at bottom of a
moderator-created post to make it a "special message". Only effects
those who have that setting in thier membership for the group.

I put it on my calendar for June, and hopefully nothing comes up to
interfere.

Now the really funny thing is -- Chris and I were at the GC on
Saturday, and ate the lunch buffet. So I guess we participated in
groups of two this time
