. Maybe I should put the new Aquarius in my sights. I have
never stayed at the Pioneer, but had play enough for rooms and a lots
of free food.

AQ- The casino floor got tuned-up. I find it alot easier to traverse
around. They keep sending out those $19/night e-mails, but they just started
redoing the rooms.
Pioneer- is not everyone's cup of tea. You will not impress your date or
wife with the accomidations. The rooms are adaquate for my needs. I can park my
car outside my door. You need to get your ice first thing in the morning,
those poachers raiding the outside machines.
But you accrue comps at a straightfoward and banked .25%. Debit card style
redemption. You get two comped (no comp $$ reduction) sun-thurs nights every
month for $1k in VP action, once you collect your first $10 in lifetime
cashback (3000 points). There is always a promo to get you to 100%+. They have the
best BJ and Craps on the River.
Comps- always save a bit in case you want to eat the monthly special in the
coffee shop, which is $2-3 if paid in comps. They still hit your account for
tax on a comp. You needed to have a decent balance to book a room, like a $60
balance after the pending charges.
Booze and Butts store- you can use comp increments of $5, up to $15 per day.
Kind of goofy, but they have cheap prices. It is a Pepsi house though.
Beer Tasting- The twelve new tappers in Sassy Sue's Saloon have a fine
rotation.
Grannys- a surprise dinnerhouse upstairs that keeps out the youngsters, 21+
only. The Sunday buffet should be tried...anyone do it lately?
