Actually, it strikes me that this would be extremely easy to do. As for different pieces of software interacting, that is common enough that any knowledgeable programmer would have no problem.

I don't know whether they are doing this or not. If they really wanted to, with the right hardware and programming they could have the eye in the sky take your picture and print it on the ticket, too.
