Tipping with TIITO

I agree. One tips based on the service rendered. Since many changepeople have now been elevated to floorperson status with the TITO and might be on salary, it might be harder to figure out how much to tip, but I think the usual guidelines of tipping for good service should still apply, tipping higher for superb service and not tipping for poor service. Keep in mind things such as if a casino is severely understaffed (common) it may take a floorperson time to get to you, but usually you can tell if they are busting their butt or taking it easy and tip accordingly. If one is a good palyer that frequents a particular casino, beinf a little extra generous may not be a bad idea. You might want to keep a record of tips issued for tax purposes, such as 3/3/05 RF $1,000 handpay, tip to floorperson $10 etc.

Tips would only be an issue on your return if you were filing as a
professional gambler.

But even filing as a recreational gambler any detail you put into a gambling
log will help with credibility if you are audited.
