Hello Everyone ,
My wife and I usually tip according to the service , its
like anything else in life when dealing with the public its all in the
attitude . We've all had waitresses who seem like they just had a fight
with their boyfriend and others just seem to love dealing with the
public . However that is the profession that they have chosen and they
should accept that. We believe that T.I.P. was an acronym meaning
"To Insure Promtness ". I tip the teller in the Racebook room if he
is polite and helps me with a wager . I've tipped the girl who hands
out the bead necklaces at the front of the casino , just on attitude.
And also the singer at the piano bar and the piano player , if we
were entertained. Gambling is entertainment and waitresses are part of
that , if they are negative , you should mention it to a host , you are
a customer and there to be entertained by the service the casino
provides for you. Believe me casinos do not want bad publicity or
unhappy customers no matter how big they are. We would estimate that at
least 90% of the waitresses are great .
Just our humble opinion.....

Tipping the Waitress...........
Actually the TIPS acronym you are speaking of is "To
Insure Proper Service". I myself wish that no one
including casino workers would share tips. Why?
What incentive does it give the tipped employee to
give me exemplary service if they know that EVERYONE
receives the same amount no matter what kind of
service they give?
If someone comes to work with a hangover that
day...or is just in a bad mood, what does it matter?
They get the same as everyone else.I have been a
tipped employee for many years and think this is the
worst thing a business could do.Just my two cents.
