Tipping; one more time.

In Las Vegas it is not at all hard to get my mailman to accept a tip. I do
give those gift cards from Walmart, etc., and they are very well received.

If my theory of relativity is proven successful, Germany will claim me as a
German, and France will declare that I am a citizen of the world. Should my
theory prove untrue, France will say that I am a German, and Germany will
declare that I am a Jew.

--Over the years here in LV, I have given them gifts. One time he left it in
the mailbox all week and never took it. Another time he took it and I never
heard a word of thanks or got a note or anything for it. Kind of hurt my
feelings. One of my best friend's in Ohio is a mailman and tells me he
collects quite a bit during Xmas.

I understand how you feel but I learned a long time
ago that once I give a gift, it is that theirs to do
with as they please. If they do not say "thank you"
then it was not meant to be but I do not punish people
in the future for what somebody has done in the past.
