According to studies that have been done on the subject, Republicans are
far more generous with charities than Democrats are- and that is going by
relative percentage of income.
The Democrats give as an excuse that they feel that the government should
take care of these charitable donations. I rather think that it works the
same as it does with liberals in Congress. They raise YOUR taxes but
conveniently fail to pay their own (Charlie Rangle and that new head of the IRS
and Treasury Secretary what's his name- you know- the one who couldn't figure
out turbo tax, Etc.). Don't you just love all of these winners that we have
spending our money?
