Should casino hostesses be tipped?

Not in principle. A nice gift here and there seems to work well, perhaps
left at the office - not too obvious.

The best tip you can make in a casino!!!
Tip the dealer and you might loose the next dozen hands. The the
lady who gives you a hand pay and she is no help if you never win
another jackpot in your life.
I do not tip my host in cash but leave her a gift certificate every
time I come to this certain casino now.

I am sort of RFB at this place but they would never comp their best
restaurant for more than two people. First time I left her a gift
because I had asked for a suite, she gave me the suite but did not
know I would bring the gift, then after receiving it she comped
their best restuarant for 8 of us. Last time there, her knowing I
was coming alone, she set me up in one of their best rooms. I have
to estimate that that gift certificate of $50 has given me about
$400 of extra comps or room upgrades each visit.

Did this at another place though and received nothing in the way of
extras.
