Jean -- I think you tipped just right! I was a bit surprised by the $500 part--- but you
understood who/how many would share in that. My thot was to get a bunch of
$20s and start handing them out. 1% sounds about right especially since
you know so many there. . . . . if it was me, it'd probably be less since I am
less (MUCH less) well known! And since you're a known personality, even tho
we all know you're frugal, you can't come off looking cheap and stingy, either.
It was also nice that you thot of others that wouldn't have known about it until later,
(like the salon people) but you allowed them to 'share' in your good fortune.

I would like to take a random survey of members on what you would tip
