I am wondering what most tip for room service? I remember polls were
taken on tips but I don't believe any polls were taken on this
subject. Anyway, I couldn't find the past poll data base.
My room service is usually for breakfast. I usually order eggs etc.
I add fruit bowls, can eat for evening snack. Extra jelly rolls,
sometime an extra side of pancakes and even a couple quarts of
botteled water. Breakfast is a real good shot, as it saves a lot of
morning time. Order breakfast, shower up, and food shows up while
I'm checking my coupon file. If we have friends or family with us
breakfast is well over $100.
I tip about 15% of the check. I have always wondered if the room
service charges go to the wait person also. I think the servers do
good when I order. However, if they are getting the room service
charge they might be doing too good.
