Tip For Limo Driver ?

Hi,
Well, I've cancelled NYNY so its Caesars Palace this Sunday. I'm
going to get a limo to pick me up( last time they took $35 off my
comp bank). I have enough in the bank to afford it and since I'm
coming in at 10:30 PM its nice to have one waiting. What would you
tip the driver for a ride from the airport to CP ?...( one passenger,
one suitcase)

                        Larry Feldman

$20

I been doin' $10. Kind of a personal preference thing, eh?
In Reno - the bell hops get to do the Limo pickups. Sometimes they stay with
me thru check-in and carry bag or bags up to my room for me. $15 or $20
then. Vegas is more glitzy and a longer ride, $20 wouldn't break you I'd hope.
On the way in anyhow ;~)
~~ depends if you're gonna be there ever again, if you like the guy or gal,
etc. don't worry about over-tipping. consider if you take the limo back to the
airport, maybe you'll have the same driver...

Yea and you might be taped on the way back. I still say $20 Only two rolls
of quarters

I'm not familiar with that phrase. What do you mean?

Thanks.

Bill Velek

You might loose bigtime and not have $10 on the way home.

I think Fred typed TAPED but meant TAPPED.
Spelling causes confusion once again.
Fred figured it out for us.

You both are 100% correct. Just my bad typing. The jist of what I was trying
to say was " You might be broke"

The drivers expect about $10, minimum.

From what I understand, they also keep track of how well people tip,
for future reference.

P.S. Can't get away from you, Richard. -Doppy
