I haven't played Nevada for over three years but Winston was a stone cold pro, not a blackjack dealer. I think there is a chance he is working Vegas these days. Reno is nothing compared to what it used to be. I know he was going in on the Terrible's play last year.
As far as not having a car, that's inconsequential to me. I haven't driven in 21 years to protect the public and myself. That makes Vegas a logistical nighmare for me. I can either burn the money off on cabs or spend way too much time on the buses.
I know last year there was major freeplay/bounceback money in Vegas. We're talking thousands of dollars a month. South Point was just one stop. The elite were tagging other joints with the same type of setup. It may still be going on this year to some extent. But I took a pass on the thing.
