I am in the same boat as you missdeuces. 4+ royal drought cycle since
April and way behind on deuces as well (though deuces is far from my
only game). But I was way luckier than I should have been in January,
so some of it is correction - but brutal none-the-less

There are Royals and Royals. I've been getting them regularly (even today)
on the 10-play nickel Super Bonus Aces I love at Rampart. However, I haven't
had a 25 cent Royal in perhaps eight months of reasonable amounts of play
at that denomination.

I do know what you mean. I should have qualified my lack of royals
for single line for one. I hit one recently on the bottom line of 5
play dime multi-strike. But when $1 is your normal denomination, it
doesn't seem like much. I haven't been calculating multi-line into my
royal drought for just that reason.

But the game is very streaky. A few years ago I went just over a year
without a royal, even on multiline, I played less then than I do now,
but it was still 4-5 cycles down. But I have had periods where I have
hit 3-4 royals in the course of a cycle too. It seems to come out in
the wash. The tricky part is to not get over excited and overly
optimistic when things are going well, because there could be a rough
ride around the corner.
