Tier Credits

Based on the mailer they sent, it's just the new normal.

Any day you earn 500 tier credits, you get 125 extra.
Any day you earn 1000, you get an extra 1000.
Any day you earn 2500, you get an extra 5000.

With the new tiers being
5000 - platinum
15000 - diamond
150000 - seven stars

So you can now get seven stars with 20 separate days of 2500. That's twice as fast as before (if you spread your play properly).

Huge incentive now to plan your play in advance to maximize the days with 1000 and 2500.

the mailer/brochure also states in the back what your 2013 tier level is. i
was surprised that they already designated 7*.

Check your tier score after each play.
You don't always get the bonus tier credits promised.
Played 2502 pts. and only got 1000 instead of 5000.
Total rewards has been looking into it they say for the past 4 days, examining the account.
Hopefully they will remedy the situation soon.

I’ve had many cases over the years that the point totals shown online differ by a few points over what the screen says on the VP machine. We always try to earn at least 5 additional points over what is required by a promotion. We also write down what the machine screen says we earned and verify it with the web totals. We’re now keeping an even closer watch over this with these new bonuses.
