Three Royals to triple play RF4

I've uploaded a picture (#59 in the photos section) of a hit that
still boggles my mind: 3 Royals drawn to an RF4 on quarter triple
play. The quality isn't the greatest, as it's a scan of a Polaroid,
but you can see that only 4 cards on the bottom line have been held.

Chances are 1 in 103,823 RF4 deals. The attendant who paid me said
he'd seen it a couple of times before ?!?! He was pretty old though
:sunglasses: ... but triple play has only been around a decade or less(?)

I thought I could happily die now, but I still don't have a Shockwave
bonus quad or an ACE$ bonus hit. Both should be quite a bit easier to
get though ... 8-).

On top of the 1-in-100000 chance on the draw, there are approximately
1000 RF4 hands (I count 936), i.e. overall the probability is about
1-in-288 million.

288 million plays is 18 machines at 800 HPH, for 10 years at 2000
hours per year. I don't believe that that many machines would be
constantly played that hard.

The probability of a 1-in-n event happening 3 times or more in n
trials is approximately 1-2.5/e, i.e. approximately 8%.

I had a similar hit on 25c triple play. Holding 6c 7c Tc 8c, I drew 1
and hit the 9c on all three lines! Of course the odds of that
happening were the same as the odds of drawing 3h 2s 9d. We just
assign more value to some miracle than to others. TomSki

I dealt one card to the 5h Ah 7h 9h and drew 5c on the bottom, Ks in the
middle, and 3s on the top. Equally miraculous as the two hands
discussed.

My miracle is worse than your miracle!

Was this at Sam's Town? Could tell by the meters someone did it
recently on the bank near ice cream shop.
