Three Nice Old Ladies trying my patience and then some...

I was playing $1 Deuces Wild at the Potawatomi Indian Casino in
Milwaukee on Monday night.

There were a group of three nice old ladies there...

two were sitting at $1 Deuces Wild machines
one was standing by the $1 Deuces Wild machines.

The only old lady playing the machines had the following routine
(you'll like this).

1. Talk to one of her nice old lady friends that was either

sitting

next to her at a $1 Deuces Wild machine or talk to the other nice

old

lady friend that was standing next to her.

Her friends were out of money and not playing.

This would take 10 minutes or so.

2. The nice old lady would then open her purse and try to find a

$1

bill.

This would take another 3 minutes.

3. The nice old lady would then uncrumple the bill.

This would take another 2 minutes.

4. The nice old lady would then try to insert the bill in the

money

changer.

This would only take 2 minutes or so.

5. The nice old lady would have one credit in the machine and not
start her game but continue to talk to one of her nice old lady
friends.

This would take 7 minutes or so.

6. The nice old lady would decide to start her game.

This would take 6 minutes or so.

7. The nice old lady would ask her friends which cards to keep

and

which cards to discard.

This would take 10 minutes or so.

8. The nice old lady try to select which cards to hold and which
cards to discard.

This would take 2 minutes or so.

9. The nice old lady finally draw.

This would only take a minute or so.

9. The nice old lady would tell her friends how tight the video
poker machines were in the casino.

10. The nice old lady would talk to her friends for another 10
minutes or so.

11. Back to step 1.

I went from machine to machine (there were only eight machines in
this group), and wasn't doing to well.

At first, I was going to give each of them $10 a piece to get lost.

Instead, reluctantly, against my best judgement, I finally went up

to

the nice old lady that wasn't playing and asked her very nicely if
she was playing that machine?

She was very rude and said that yes she was playing.

I though she was going to hit my middle aged head with her purse!

I continued to play for 3 hours or so. Never did she play that
machine!

Boy oh boy was I so glad to see those 3 old ladies leave.
