For that Lady that is bringing her daughter, I think she might be surprised how big Wendover is casino wise. Even though it is a really small town it has 4 really large Casino's. I have feeling she'll be totally surprised how big they are. I was surprised when that one guy said that the Buffet at the Nugget is better than the Peppermill owned properties. Boy has that ever changed. When I lived in Salt Lake City a few years ago there was no comparison, the three Peppermill properties buffets were way better. And they were really nice lots of good offerings and choices.
It's nice that Western Village is getting a combined slot card with the Peppermill. Gambling wise I totally prefer to gamble in Western Village. It's just laid out so much better. Getting around inside the Peppermill is a total pain. The pathways are tight and constricted not much room to move around or manuever. The W Village by contrast is laid out well you can walk around the place without problems. They have a nice steak house in Western Village it's one of my favorite places in Reno to eat. They ought to think about remodeling and upgrading their dumpy hotel(s). Western Village used to be considered out in the middle of nowhere. But with the opening of the Sparks Marina and Legends that area is nowadays considered very nice. They are directly bordering on that Marina. And it's a short and pleasant walk from W-Village to Legends.
