Right. Ironically, Lake Las Vegas might do better if it was even farther
away, say, on the other side of Lake Mead, in Arizona. LLV is nothing like
Vegas, and people looking for a mellow, non-gaming vacation will never find it.

In AZ by the turn-off on 93 to the Skywalk on the Rez would be great. No
maybe not? Anyone heard a peep about the Skywalk lately?

Anyone heard an update about the Dam bridge bypass lately? I have seen the
orange construction sign coming out of Kingman go from 2003-2007...and then the
7 was turned into an 8. It will take two colors of paint to turn it into a
9...a 10 will really be some work!

The poor Hacienda casino just west of the Dam decided to stay in business
instead of selling out to the government. How are they going to survive 3 years
of delays?

**************************************
See what's free at

See this link for the reasons for the delays:

They were progressing quite well before the windstorm took out the two
cranes. Unfortunately, that was a severe setback.
