The big news is that the Belle and EW must have listened to the
complaints. Not that their games are the greatest (nothing over
99.2%), BUT there is abundant 8/5 Bonus, 9/7/5 Double Bonus, and 9/6
Double Double Bonus on their floors now. Best game I spotted was an
8/5 BP $.25 bartop progressive at the River Bar at EW. I also saw a
couple of $.05 8/5 BP machines in play at the top of the escalator by
the restaurants (bank of 10, FP only on the escalator side). I
didn't spend too much time scouting, but BP is everywhere, and the
9/7 DB and 9/6 DDB is generally on the highest denomination of the
multi-denom games. All the deuces I saw were Illinois, and the JoB
was 8/5. It was weird to see the whole area by the Kokopelli lounge
all occupied by slots. They either cleaned or replaced the carpet in
both joints. I didn't play at either place.

Well that is good news. Maybe they just wanted a baseline? Maybe they just
wanted to make sure there were not any mistakes putting in all that new
inventory? Maybe they were tired of dusting the empty machines?
It really is scary north of the Kokopelli showroom. You can play any Wheel
of Fortune version, even generics. Stand where the old Multi-pokers used to be
and you can't see any VP.
So has anyone collected Free-play or a comp? Signage suggested that we need
a PIN and we can swipe and eat.
I guess I will have to wander around them again.
