Is anyone around on Thursday? The Harrah's jet is coming to
Albuquerque to whisk us in for a weekend of gambling, burning comps,
and eating as if there were no diet. This in spite of the fact that
I suffered a near season-ending video poker injury on Sunday: I was
chopping onions and whacked my second-card-hold-button-pushing index
finger. I'm still on the DL but should recover in time for the
trip.
I have questions if anyone knows (otherwise I'll find out for
myself):
Have the diamond lounge hours changed like LV, or are they still
serving weekend breakfast?
Does any place on the river make real Mojitos (this question from
one of our merry band)?
Is there enough water for the river taxis?
Can I find $1 craps anywhere?
I'll be concentrating play at Harrah's, GN, and Aquarius this trip.
Should be a fun weekend. Pioneer is simulcasting the Rodeo. Maybe
I should bring my cowboy hat.
