Least we forget that at one point all the pick'ems were 1.1%.. (for many years actually).
FWIW, the special $10 Picke'em (long gone) spit out extra coins. It was played multiple ways.
Least obvious was to load it up, then play the game as usual, and instead of getting 10 coins for a high pair, you might 11 (if you were "lucky"). Every now and then you could dump the hopper (cash out) and you'd prob get some additional coins that way too.
Most blatently obvious way was to load it up, and dump it out, over and over again. without playing a single hand! Yes, people did that. For hours. I'm not sure how long that machine was there, as I don't know exactly when it went in. At least a month for sure.
[Don't confuse this with "speed feeding"; Those $5 + $10 coin machines were always susceptible to that; but speed feeding was clearly "cheating". LOL]
