I can not stand the Peppermill's comp system. You put your card in and it says 'accepted.' Then after playing for how ever long and you want to know how much money in comps you have, you have to stand in a line at the players club booth to see if you have enough for a buffet or steak dinner or whatever. Only the booth people see what totals you have and if it is enough they print you out a voucher for your comp. C'mon Peppermill, give the people working the Players Club Booth their gold watch and put them out to pasture! In this electronic age many other casinos are up to speed with the comp sysyem and when you insert your card you see exactly how many points you have or reward credits or whatever and if you see you have enough for lunch or whatever you just go and have lunch and they 'swipe' your card at the cashier and deduct the lunch amount from your total. There is no need for the players to stand in line and wait to see if they have enough to
obtain the cherished voucher for the comp. The Peppermill has upgraded their hotel, parking, and many other areas. Isn't it time to upgrade the comp system?? When I come to town I will usually stop for a brief visit to the Peppermill to see if they have come out of the dark ages yet and simply move on to the more modern casinos when I see that they haven't.

Actually you can get a "rough" idea of your comps without having to
ask a boothling. The Peppermill did recently update their daily swipe
kiosks by allowing you to view your current points. It takes about $40
a point on most non 100% video poker, and $47 a point on positive VP
(according to the current VPFree data). Your comps are about .40%
(.004) of your coin-in, so.....

If you earn 100 points on 9/6 JOB you can figure 100 points times $40
a point = $4000 coin in, times .004 equals $16 comp value.

Your mileage may vary, and of course you have to take into account if
you are staying their on a "comp" offer.
