If I were you, I don't know that I would be comfortable seeking fear
analysis on a video poker forum. Our members may not have the necessary
clinical qualifications. Kind of like asking the casino cocktail waitress
where the best paying machines are :-). Are you sure bankroll is not a
factor? Playing max coin $1 DB requires a tidy sum. For a good indicator you
can look at a chart posted by our own Tomski earlier this year at:

As you will notice, in order to play 10-7 DB max coin at the dollar level ,
even with .20% cash back, at a 5% risk of ruin, you would require a
bankroll of $54,730.00, and maintain a 1 in 20 chance of going broke. Might

Good info here, although I am not firmly convinced that the full Kelly
Criterion method of wager sizing is applicable to video poker, but it is as
good a benchmark as any other method to establish a starting point.
I also noticed in another post further down on this about the use of their
money. No offense to the author, but this way of thinking is dangerous. Once
you hit any sizable jackpot, this is no longer their money, it is your
money. In my opinion, for the average gambler, this type of thinking is high
on the list of things that will cause discipline leakage or varying from a
game plan. I wish that I has just one Andy Jackson for every time I heard a
player say, "Hey, not to worry, I'm playin' on their money now", and proceed
to give it all back, and sometimes add some chase cash to it. I could
probably afford a condo in Maui, or at least a nice down payment with all
these twenty's.
For now, I would suggest the BMPM (Bobby Mcferrin playing method), don't
worry, be happy. You're visiting one of the coolest cities on the planet for
recreation, why create your own stress. Just my opinion.
