An example of why you should never take a casino promo at face value, or make your own interpretation.
Stations sent out mailers and ran ads stating that, between 7/13-27, you could earn up to $3000 in free play at Palace Station &/or Greeen Valley, listing parameters of for various amounts of free play, and that the Free Play which would be automatically loaded onto your account the following day would be valid for 2 days.
Went to Palace of the 13th, and happened to notice signs on Optimum Plays machines that they were not eligible for the promotion. In fact, the signage on the machines is so prominent it cannot be missed.
Went into the high limit room hoping that there would not be any such signs on the $ JB, and there not being any, made the mistake of playing for a couple of hours.
Returned circa 4am on the 14th, but there was no Bounce Back loaded. Made another error assuming that it was just too early, and played again. Another player came by and asked if the machine I was at was included in the promotion, and I said as there was no sign, I assumed so. He wandered off, returning shortly thereafter, and informed me there was a sign near
the Players Club stating $1-$2 JB were excluded.
There is such a sign (which I should have looked for instead of making my own interpretation), which among many other conditions, states that certain machines may be excluded, then listing exclusions which I was too lazy to write down. There is an additional caveat that THE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO THE ONES LISTED. Doesn't take a genius to realize that this allows them to exclude anything and everything . A friend told me he played quarter Bonus at a bar, w/o receiving the additional Free Play.
Curious to know whether anyone has received Free Play for video poker, and what games/machines you've played
