Anyhow first he makes bodily contact with me as he seats himself . He makes
no gesture of apology. Ok..I let that one slide. Then almost immediately he
steps on my foot and again acknowledges nothing .

Since he doesn't notice anything I would have tied his foot to the stool,
told him to go have intercourse with his dead mother then slowly walk away.
That works at poker tables.
