Think Like The Computer!

Seriously, folks, if you want to play for a half hour on checkout day
and then have to argue with a host for a buffet, whatever.

I am only saying that your daily average improves when there is lots
of activity any day you play - that's obvious - so DON'T PLAY unless
you plan to meet the requirement for that "day", whether its 500 or
5000 points. You simply cannot stop into a casino, play for 20
minutes, and then expect to be rewarded for that play. Because of the
averaging system, it will only bring you headaches. Yes, you'll get
your 25 cents cash back. But your comps will deteriorate.

Most of my hosts, and all are at the "executive" or "senior" level.
simply do not have the time to sit there with you and listen that you
only played 10 minutes on checkout day. They are quickly evaluating
daily average, theoretical loss, etc.

So do yourself a favor - get your cash back the night before and do
not insert that card into any machine or kiosk after midnight prior to
checkout unless you plan on giving the required play for another "day".

On the other hand, maybe it's a good thing to play short-time on
checkout day and then COMPLAIN. If more and more people do this all
the time, sooner or later, those casino hosts will figure out that
the "daily average" needs to be changed to the more fair-and-
square "entire trip average".

I think that "npf" has given excellent advice below. It is how I
recommend "getting around" the system also.

I still don't like this method of tracking play, but I no longer
question it.

I do this religiously and suggest that all do the same.
