i more or less agree - the exception would be when there is only one machine or table, and if many go to it they will see it occupied and be annoyed. I will start by giving an example of a sometimes profiteable play. the New Frontier has a Progressive that includes ACE$ bonus that frequently gets somewhat positive when cash back (and coomps are firgured in, not to mention free room nights each month.

that many people have benefitted (in the short term) from great plays
being broadcast on bulletin boards. Those that did not already know
about it and then go and play it benefit greatly for as long as the
play lasts. Those people who learned about great plays at the
Suncoast, Barbary Coast, the Stations, NYNY, etc. all benefitted 3-5
years ago when details of those machines plus their cash benefits were
posted on numerous large bulletin boards. Unfortunately those great
plays no longer exist, most likely because too many people found out
about them and they were no longer profitable to the casinos. I have
no proof of that, it's simply an opinion.Knowing about a good play is valuable information, and broadcasting
that information raises the risk of reducing or eliminating the value
of that information. People can do whatever they like with that
information. My approach is to keep the really good info private, and
I'd prefer to see others do the same, but that's just my opinion.
There's no way I can force anyone to do anything. But I think it's
wise for people to think about the potential ramifications before
posting.That doesn't mean there's not plenty of other VP topics for bulletin
boards to discuss, without killing the golden goose.
