there's a reason....

If you search the archives for this board, you'll see a lot of
impassioned debate about whether good plays should be shared or
concealed. In fact, this subject has been kind of beaten to death.

The consensus has been to share information, rather than to conceal
it to "protect" the play. What the members of this board are
primarily interested in is recreational VP opporunities that may
help them lower the cost of a Vegas vacation. What they generally
AREN'T looking for is rape-the-casino opportunities that the
dwindling number of Vegas VP pros need so badly to prolong the
period before they have to give it up and get a REAL job.

The fact of the matter is that if the Vegas pro community was now,
or had been in the past, more circumspect about exploiting their
opportunities, the VP in Vegas would not be in the crappy state that
it is. PROS kill plays; skilled recreational players do not.
Therefore the "pro" VP world and the members of this board are, far
from being allies, actually at odds with one another.

Therefore, the policy of sharing information has been adopted by
consensus.
