I totolly agree! However, a number of friends think that once they have the
casino's money in their pocket, they start betting BIG, i.e. $1 VP.
They are GAMBLING, not playing to win. Remember, the Las Vegas
is the world's largest monument to the ignorance of the common gambler.

It seems to be working, but I'm like you and think that it's not often I do
have their money in my pocket and I will be darned to give it back to them
without a fight! I sometimes wonder if I would be much farther ahead if I
could break this mind-set.
Forget everything about how much you won or lost recently. When you
decide what to play, use a combination of your advantage and your bankroll
( current, future, and psychological ) to decide. If you are playing within
your bankroll, this decision will not change because you manage to hit a
royal
or 2.
There are some excellent reasons to 'take a shot' at a higher
denomination game, but doing so simply because you are on a winning
streak is not one of them.
