First trips to Vegas are usually magical and always memorable. I will never forget the first time we approached McCarran at night.....what a wonderful sight. The realization that I was going to experience the "myth and mystique" of Vegas was a feeling that I will never forget. I still get butterflies when the big bird does it's final approach.
We are old school gamblers and have been gaming for 25 years. We play only neutral and positive games so plays for us are getting rarer and rarer. Atlantic City is only 2 hours away and we are glad to have the plays available at the Borgata, but Vegas is Vegas. Nothing compares to the overall experience.
The strip is a wonder to see, but we concentrate our play downtown. The "old Vegas" feel is something we appreciate....hell we even got married there LOL.
We will miss the star trek experience.....thanks Hilton, no what are we geeks to do for fun?
Enjoy your trip and hit a royal!Remember ..... life is only what you make it. Never settle for second best.Bill
